  11. AmIRC is a client for the IRC Internet Relay Chat protocol written by
  12. Oliver Wagner (owagner@vapor.com).  It is a part of the VaporWare suite
  13. of Internet applications.  For more information on AmIRC or any other
  14. VaporWare products, please see our website - http://www.vapor.com/.

  16. Note: OS 2.x and/or 68000 users need to also fetch the
  17. amirc_68000.lha archive.

  19. Major changes since last release (3.3/3.2):
  20.  
  21. - Many many bugfixes.
  22.  
  23. - At long last: "Tab" mode: Show multiple channel or queries 
  24.   in a single "notebook"-style tabbed window, highliting pages 
  25.   with new messages, quickly switching between pages by clicking
  26.   on the tab header.
  27.  
  28. - "Economy" channel modes: Shows channel modes as simple text button,
  29.   to leave more visual space for topic.

  31. - many other minor improvements and fixes. Refer to the detailed
  32.   changes list below for details.
